Penn is already regarded as one of the top dental schools in the country, so on top of an excellent education I was able to get that much needed experience and exposure."

To give you the best possible service and results, Dr. Turchin and his staff are fully committed to continuing education and learning. They attend classes throughout the year to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state of the art dental care. Patient Education: “This is an important component of my practice. I talk about the connection between dental health and overall health while emphasizing the importance of regular visits to maintain dental health and prevent crisis situations. We want all our patients to know that the health of their bodies starts in the mouth. By emphasizing regular and preventative dental care we ensure our patients' the best oral health and overall health, along with reduced discomfort and costs."
For our patients’ convenience, root canal surgery by Dr. Frank Bruno and periodontal surgery by Dr. Wendy Halpern can be performed in my office to offer a seamless quality to our treatment. We also have two full-time and several part-time hygienists.
Here in Dr. Turchin's office the goal is to help patients' keep their natural teeth for a lifetime! Endodontic treatment, or root canal therapy, along with the appropriate restoration, is a cost-effective way to save a tooth and it's usually less expensive than extraction and placement of a bridge or an implant. Many teeth that have undergone root canal treatment can last a lifetime. Our on-staff endodontist, Dr. Frank Bruno, can treat you right here in our office.
Periodontal disease, an infection of the gums and supporting structures of the teeth, is the number one cause of tooth loss. Periodontal disease affects nearly 75% of adults and if left untreated can leave to sore or bleeding gums, discomfort in the mouth, persistent bad breath and eventually, tooth loss. In many cases, gums can be restored to a healthy state and your natural teeth saved through periodontal gum therapy. Best of all, our on-staff periodontist, Dr. Wendy Halpern, can treat your condition right here in our office.
